Why is it necessary to clean before disinfection to build a complete biosecurity system?
Have you ever encountered problems with stubborn dirt adhering to surfaces in farms or heavily polluted areas, making cleaning time-consuming and laborious? Inadequate cleaning leads to the presence of stubborn dirt, which causes odors and prevents disinfectants from penetrating, significantly reducing their effectiveness. In farming environments, we advocate for a two-step process of cleaning and disinfection. This recommendation is supported by experimental data. Aerobic bacteria counts were taken using swabs, showing a 2-log reduction in aerobic bacteria (cfu) per 625 cm² after simple cleaning and disinfection, compared to only a 1.5-log reduction (cfu) per 625 cm² with disinfection alone. This is mainly because organic dirt on uncleaned surfaces can greatly reduce or eliminate the effectiveness of disinfectants against microorganisms. Therefore, cleaning before disinfection is necessary.
Working Principle:
(1) Saponification: The alkali in this product reacts with the grease in the dirt to form sodium stearate and glycerin, dissolving into the cleaning solution.
(2) Surfactant Action: Surfactants provide good foaming properties, and through wetting, penetrating, emulsifying, and dispersing actions, dirt is removed or dissolved from surfaces.
(3) Prolonged Action Time: The interaction between foam stabilizers and surfactants significantly increases the viscosity and lifespan of the foam film, allowing the foam to remain on surfaces longer, ensuring sufficient contact time between the cleaning solution and dirt, thus thoroughly breaking down surface dirt.
Product Features:
(1) Delicate and Stable Foam, Strong Adhesion: The foam can stay on smooth surfaces for up to 30 minutes. When sprayed with a special foam gun, it forms fine, uniform, and highly adhesive foam, covering hard-to-clean areas in farms (such as ceilings, under farrowing crates, railings, vertical walls, glass surfaces, etc.), increasing the contact time between the cleaning agents and dirt, thoroughly breaking down dirt and significantly improving cleaning efficiency.
(2) Complex Surfactant + High Alkalinity, Double Penetration, Strong Cleaning Power: This product contains surfactants and strong alkaline agents, and even when diluted 100 times, its pH remains above 12, providing excellent saponification of fecal and oily dirt. The surfactants penetrate, swell, and emulsify organic matter, and the combination of the two can quickly remove stubborn stains, making it especially suitable for heavily polluted areas.
(3) Added Corrosion Inhibitors, Friendly to Equipment Materials: Made with food-grade ingredients, it is safe to use and includes various chelating agents that cause minimal corrosion to farm walls and equipment. It is safe to use on plastic, rubber, galvanized steel, and low-carbon steel materials (note: use with caution on aluminum).
(4) Easy Cleaning, Saves Water and Labor: The foam extends the contact time between active cleaning agents and dirt, making it easier to remove stains. Using this product effectively reduces cleaning time, water usage by 40%, and cuts energy consumption and labor by 50%.
